On Saturday, October 14, 2006 the Foundation celebrated its third anniversary with a dinner party attended by approximately forty people.
The highlight of the evening was a stirring speech by Foundation President, Cenon C. Marcos, as he spoke about the amazing truth that underpins the Foundation as it works for the benefit of all Filipinos. Those who were new to this information were astonished by the realization that Filipinos truly are the richest people in the World!
The Foundation’s attorney, Alejo Estepa, presented the fascinating history of the 617,500 metric tons of gold and the all-important Original Certificate of Title, OCT 01-4.
We take this opportunity to extend our thanks to Global Alliance Investment Association, which sponsored the anniversary dinner and which has supported the Tallano Foundation throughout these formative, “foundational” years of growth.
At the weekly meeting today a considerable amount of time was spent discussing the Indigenous People’s Ancestral Domain claims, an issue which no doubt the Foundation’s position will strongly influence in the years ahead.
