2006-11-22:  Thanks Giving!

At the regular weekly meeting yesterday, Global Alliance Investment Association sponsored a special “American-style” Thanksgiving lunch, replete with “real” cranberry sauce (not out of the can!), turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes and some wonderful buttered spelt toast.

Approximately 30 people attended the feast, including a delightful media person who seems to be taking some interest in the Awareness campaign to bring the truth of the Royal Family’s legacy to the Filipino people.

The Foundation’s attorney is “up to his eyeballs” in work coming at us from all directions: numerous land claims situations, a major one of which involves Indigenous People in the Infanta area.  Tomorrow we (the Foundation and representatives from Global Alliance) will be meeting with some representatives of the banking community to discuss straightening out their horrendous “lack of collateral” problem.
