At this point this is just an unsubstantiated rumor but . . . Over breakfast with a woman who shall remain unnamed (but for purposes of our own recognition who calls herself a “spiritual leader”) said she heard that Alan Greenspan was either in Manila or would be soon. On the heels of the visit from the Mayor of “The City” (see Journal entry of 2006-05-13), again we must ask ourselves WHY such an important personage in the FINANCIAL world would be stopping by this poor little country? It couldn’t have anything to do with the tremendous importance of the resources here, could it?
