2006-05-18:  Land Bank Calls to Check on “Certain Titles”

In response to a letter sent from the Foundation to the Land Bank of the Philippines on May 10 we received a telephone call bright and early this morning wherein the caller, from the Land Bank, appeared anxious to check with the Foundation on the status of certain titles which, for now, we will not embarass anyone by identifying.

NO, the titles are NOT GOOD in all probability.  Like most of the land titles in the Philippines they are most probably based on FRAUD.

Confirmation of the truthful position of the Foundation with regard to fraudulent land titles continues to pour in.  Some big boats are being rocked by the revelations because many banks will have to restructure their loan portfolios.
