2006-06-15:  Global Alliance Brief Update

It only seems like all of the action is centered around the Foundation, which has indeed had some very exciting news to share over the last month.  Global Alliance is also making tremendous progress but not in a way which can be safely shared because we must always concern ourselves with the wellbeing of those with whom we work.

Things haven’t been going very well for the Bush Bunch on the world stage with Junior stumbling about like the emperor with no clothes while the more coordinated parties appear to have had quite a successful meeting in Shanghai. Poppies still bloom in Afghanistan, however.  Without addressing that issue head on, we must take this opportunity to acknowledge receipt of an olive branch of sorts this week with our appreciation.  Has it already been a decade since the declaration “not at this time”?  In any case, we continue to stand R/W/A to provide assistance for any and all humanitarian purposes.

And the real question remains: Who will USE that which God/Allah/Aton has provided? We shall see, “in the fullness of time”, but it certainly should be in everyone’s best interests to begin working with the solution as it has been presented “soon”
