2006-08-02:  Presentation to the Rotary Club re Spurious Land Titles

The last update was 10 days ago and it is not because there is “nothing happening” but rather because so much is going on and much of it is best not exposed at this time as we enter into serious and sensitive negotiations and discussions.

We will share that a presentation was made last night by EJ Ekker on behalf of the Tallano Foundation to one of the Rotary Clubs in the city with regard to the issue of spurious land titles.  We met some very nice, dedicated individuals and feel like we made some new friends in the process, even though the facts of the matter came as quite a shock to the assembled members.

The President of the Club happens to manage great quantities of land for a large department of the government and at first wanted to dismiss the presentation as just another angle on the old “Spanish Titles” issue. A few questions later, however, it looked to us like he shared our concern over what is a “real mess” with regard to land titling in the country. We left ample documentation with the members and expect to hear from some of them after they have had the opportunity to digest the information.

The FACT is that every day the LRA continues to issue land titles which are proven to be based on spurious underlying TCTs. WE HAVE THE SOLUTION whenever people are ready for it.
